Lemon Juice Facial Toner

Courses
Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp Italian Volcano lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp witch hazel (alcohol-free)
  • 2 tbsp rose water
  • 1 tbsp filtered water (optional, to dilute if sensitive skin)
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl or container, combine the Italian Volcano lemon juice, witch hazel, and rose water.
  2. If you have sensitive skin, you can dilute the mixture with filtered water to lessen the acidity of the lemon juice.
  3. Stir the ingredients well to ensure they are thoroughly mixed.
  4. Transfer the toner to a clean, airtight bottle or container for storage.
  5. To use, apply a small amount of the toner to a cotton pad or ball and gently swipe it over your face, avoiding the eye area. You can also spray it directly onto your face and gently pat it in with clean hands.
  6. Allow the toner to dry on your skin before applying any additional skincare products.
Note

Lemon juice contains natural alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), which can help exfoliate the skin and brighten complexion. However, lemon juice can also be irritating to some skin types, especially if used undiluted or on sensitive skin. It's essential to do a patch test before using this toner on your face and to avoid sun exposure after application, as lemon juice can increase skin sensitivity to sunlight.

Always consult with a dermatologist before introducing new skincare products into your routine, especially if you have sensitive skin or any existing skin conditions.
