Italian Lemon Herb Marinade

In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, Italian Volcano lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped basil, chopped oregano, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Place your choice of protein (chicken, fish, or vegetables) in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag.

Pour the marinade over the protein, making sure it is evenly coated. If using a plastic bag, squeeze out any excess air and seal the bag.

Marinate the protein in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.

If grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If roasting, preheat your oven to the desired temperature.

Remove the protein from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.

Grill or roast the protein until cooked through, following the appropriate cooking method for your choice of protein.
Note
Serve the grilled or roasted protein with additional Italian Volcano lemon juice, if desired.
